Ever wondered what 'UX' meant when it comes to web design? It's used a lot, and often gets confused with its mate, 'UI' - here's the lowdown...
UX stands for User Experience
It's the internal experience that a person has as they interact with every aspect of your website. The 'journey' they experience on your website (if you will!). How they view it, how they interact with it, how they behave on it, their actions. The overall experience.
UI stands for USER INTERFACE
It's the series of screens, pages, and visual elements — like buttons and icons — that enable a person to interact with a product or service.
UI is anything a user may interact with to use a digital product or service. This includes everything from screens and touchscreens, keyboards, sounds, and even lights.
